The mission of the Truman Scholars Association (TSA) is to sustain and empower the community of Truman Scholars and to strengthen a commitment to public service in all its forms through intellectual, personal and professional development.
The TSA comprises all recipients of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship. The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is awarded to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in government, nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in public service. Please visit the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation for more information on the scholarship.
The TSA strives to open the lines of communication between those individuals to benefit Scholars, society and the legacy of President Harry S. Truman. All Truman Scholars are automatically admitted into the organization and are encouraged to remain actively involved. The TSA is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
