The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation and the Truman Scholars Association hosted the 2009 Truman Scholars National Conference in Washington, D.C. at the National Press Club from June 19-21, 2009.

Our guest of honor and dinner keynote speaker on Friday, June 19th was former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, who currently serves as President of the Truman Foundation. Our guest of honor and luncheon keynote speaker on Saturday, June 20th was U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano (NM '77).
